Damn Theives........
Get a call from local Police Department informing me that a car Theif was arrested and in his pocket was a paper with my Vin and Tag number! Tell me that I should secure my car and keep close watch on it. He was let out on bail. \
This really is upsetting b/c I really do not drive the car that much and never take it anywhere for it to sit for a long period of time. Lojack, a better alarm, and some other things will go in this week!
I never thought I would looking at a situation when I become a stat about theft. Theives can kiss my a@$!!!

Hey steve,
Let me be the first to say that I am not going to hang out with you anymore.
for real though. ... makes me wonder if I too am being sought out... My alarm has been set off almost everynight for a week.

GET HIS NAME AND ADDRESS!!!!
...and if anything happens to your car, you'll know who to take it out on!
Or just get him before anything happens. Maybe beat him 'til he rats out all of his theiving bastard cohorts.

Did/are the police investigating how & why he had your information? I sure think it should be further investigated.

Re: Damn Theives........ (RealTypeR)
I like Mike M's idea, but....get a paintball gun, freeze the "*****" and be ready to open fire on the bitch *** theives. Best way to go. they wont die, they wont get critically injured, but it sure as hell will hurt.

Mike's idea is good. Paint ball idea is good too. But with my m4 custom rifle i'll sit 500 meters away. About 5 foot ball field and take him out. I love army for teaching me the skills!!! Just kidding.
seriously, its almost like we are waiting to get our R stolen

Re: Damn Theives........ (Junglist)
Dude, that is crazy..again..wayy to close to home.
do you park it anywhere in the open? (like the dealership)
is your VIN on the windshield covered? (it should be)
rest assured this guy has friends...take off a wheel and chain it to the house or something.
Ahhhh...I actually had a dude flag me down in his neighborhood about 8 months back. He showed me his backyard (nothing but LS/Vtec's sitting all over the place). He offered me one for $700 Thing is...his neighbor was a county cop. The guy disappeared a couple of months ago...

Re: Damn Theives........ (Smitdog)
Call your local acura dealer(s), tell them what happened and ask them to call you before they make a key for anyone. Offer to set up a password that someone must say before they will cut the key. This way you attempt to protect yourself, AND there will be potential liability from the dealer if your car does get stolen with a key. I'm sure that the part of the vin necessary to know for key cutting is the last few digits, you might want to consider neatly taping over the last few numbers in the vin with some sort of tape.
