Default CompTech

Would you guys suggest the comptech header or the DC JDM style? I think the DC is cheaper though right? What about power wise?

thanks,

Mike

I would suggest the DC JDM header, it's a really good header

Just ask Boba-Fett, he says it's just as good as the Mugen 4-1

I have the Comptech exhaust and I am really happy w/ it. My JDM DC header is on the way, should be shipped to me on Tuesday. I am also trying to decide to go w/ test pipe or not. I already have a 2.5 hi-flo cat. but am not sure if I want to go test pipe or not.

Just to chime in... I'm also a very happy Comptech exhaust owner.

I don't think any exhaust owner with a near stock R is going to justify their happiness with dyno numbers. When I got my Comptech exhaust, I had a lot of plans for my motor. Since then I have embraced the arms of GS and the exhaust is actually one of a small number of changes. I base my happiness on the build (it should be as good as or better than OEM to be worth it, IMHO), the sound (nice and quiet), and the peace of mind that I'm squeezing as much HP out of my GS motor as I can. In retrospect, I wouldn't have bought it (or any exhaust), but now that I have it, I'm keeping it

the testpipe is of course more free flowing but is a $3000 fine worth 1-2 hp
I don't think so
