compression test question
i did a compression test on my car with 33k on the clock. are 256, 258, 259, 255 good numbers? i know there is not supposed to be a difference of 15psi per cylinder.

Sounds a little high but agian the real test is if all the numbers are close to each other. Those number seem to be more than fine. Wouldn't expect much different considering the that the car runs strong.

1.) Removed all the sparkplugs when doing the test
2.) Press the gas pedal all the way down while cranking the engine
3.) Crank it 5 times

there are so many variables that also go into it...
if you do it with the engine warm, you will have less piston to wall clearance, making the numbers higher as well...
the major thing is if the numbers are within 10-15% of each other...
