Default code

Is there any way to get or bypass the code for the stock cd player? I called Acura and they said it is an hour of labor which is 100 bucks just to get the code. Thanks

What a bunch of ********. Some times if your lucky, it is in your service manual, or there is a sticker that is actually stuck to the deck it's self. You will have to pull it out to look.

Not at all...not at all. However, they rely on the consumer to be complete idiots and think it's fun to charge $40.00 on average over the average auto mechanic.

Thats where mine is. If you find the original dealership where the car was sold. They will have it on file next to the VIN. You will probably have to go in person with id, ownership etc.

But the deck is very dated anyways. I'll sell you my old one with code for 50 bucks shipping included if you really want one.
