I have a 94 RS teg and i was just wondering if i could put a 00 type R guage cluster in.... Will it plug right in and work....???

 

no, but if you would do a search you would find out how to make it work.

 

You have to change the backing plate...the 98+ tegs have a different backing plate...you have to take the plate off the 00 and replace it with the one from your older teg....then the cluster will work. Do a search for more specifics...

 

great thanks..... so i could just take off the rear part of my 94 cluster and put up to the 00.. thats tyte.. thanks for the help.....

 

yeah...just swap out the film on the back...takes 20 miniutes

If not, that's just a tad bit hilarious that your car can't reach the indicated redline.

 

I did it with my spoon cluster dude...worked great!

 

my teg doesnt have any motor right now....im thinking about putting a ITR swap in there...so it will rev that high..or a h22 not sure yet.....

 

no B20 Turbo? or B20VTEC?

 

naw...ive had lsvtec before...it was kewl...but i just want a H22 swap or ITR swap with turbo
