Integra cluster?
yo i was told that you would have to remove the green sheet on the back of the type r cluster and put your green sheet from a 94 to work
example i have a 94 and i brought a 01 cluster i plugged it in and the tach was jumping kinda wierd i dont think the plug ins are the same even though they do plug right in.

94-97 will work no problem, 98-00 are different. but you could re-pin your cluster pin-conections, so that it will work ok. if the 98 cluster came with the plug, just match the colors/pin connections on your car. imo this is easier than switching housing, green film, guages,

redlines are just a guideline.
if and when he does rebuild, he can raise his redline to whatever he pleases as long as his motor can do it.
