Default Cam/Nitrous setup

I was wondering if it was alright to use a JUN III or Toda B cam setup and juice a direct port 80 shot of nitrous? Will the nitrous work okay with the cam setup? I have been researching this a bit, and some have recommended custom cams, what do you all think?

Thanks,
Jon

Jon, I've got the same problem that you do. Most of the people I talk to say that you'll lose power putting an aftermarket cam on, but after speaking with some reputable sources, Kenji and West included, I've decided to go with Spec As. I'm currently running a 70 shot on mine. You don't need direct port unless you go to 100. You'd be wasting your money.

I recently installed the crower 64302a cams and the car has not been able to hit the same speed's it use to. The car now has greater low end torque but the top end is really suffering. I recently called crower and they told me it was due to the fact that the car has not been tuned out yet. So after I have the car tuned out on a dyno I will let you guy's know how the crower's react to the nitrous!!!

So you are running your car with after market cams plus Nitrous.........UNTUNED? Is that a smart thing to do?
