Default A/C System question...

Hey guys, I'm selling my kit right now but a seller asked if I was going to included the fuses and relays...

frankly, I don't know what or where those are, does he need them from my system to install? Thanks in advance.

The power relays are located under the upper radiator support and held in place by one 4mm bolt. Make sure you give him the whole harness, it disconnects at a bracket on the radiator fan. It is held to the car with a bunch of those clips but I was able to get it out w/o removing the bumper.

There is also a diode located near the ECU on the harness that runs to the evaporator under the dash. It is a 3P connector I believe and is white in color. It doesn't "plug in" to anything but functions within the harness. Don't forget the A/C button on the climate controls.

I think the 2 power relais are located at the fuse box neatr the batterie, right next to the diode.

Oops, yea I think you're right for the newer R's.. on the 97 and 98 it's how I said.

I hear ya.. Sometimes it gets so unbearably hot, AC is a must IMO.. Your girlfriend might not like the idea of no AC..
