Bumper Bar

Has anyone removed the bumper reinforcement bar to try and save weight? If so, how much do those things weight?

Did a search, could not find anything.

i'd caution you to do this only on a track car.

it will save you some weight, but poses saftey risks.

remove the rear, keep the front!

dont do it on your daily driver!

i think it only weighs like 15 pounds...not much, not worth loosing protection of your rad and header

15 lbs.. thats it... man.. a friend with a scubbie took his off, thing tip the scales at 43 lbs.... for 15 lbs for get it.
