Default Buddy Club seats for da R.

Finally got my seats in. They are super supportive and comfy, they would hold you in place great even w/out the 5pt.

Here is what you need to mount these. I picked up all parts from soloracer.com big thanks to them for the super fast shipping

Sparco seat mounts

Sparco sliders

Sparco side mounts

Finished product

Sooo it is possible to mount these up, I could have even used my corbeau pieces w/some modification which I wasn't up to.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are a couple of pics.. just waiting for my sparco sidemounts so I can install, and post up a write up of the install, and what mounts work, do not work etc.

These seats are uber-supportive, and if you have anything over a 32" waist you probobly won't fit .

They are extremely light as well, the package was 26lbs (for 2 seats) including packaging

They totally out-class my corbeaus in fit, finish, and weight.

Stay tuned for the install process.

Do these seats have an FIA certification?

Which is why I'll probably hold out for a set of Recaros, but those Buddy Clubs do look nice

no FIA cert on these.. but IIRC you only need the FIA cert if you are seeing wheel to wheel comp.

HPDE's you are goot to go Also, they make great banana chairs for playing GT3

My sidemounts will be here tommorow, look for some updated pics

you are correct sir.. FIA cert is only needed for wheel to wheel racing.. OR you can add a seatback brace and use non-FIA cert-ed seats for racing.. HPDE's and (I think) autocrosses don't have these rules..

and i wasn't knocking them.. I'm a BC ***** and love those seats, but I was trying to avoid seatback braces..

So these seats would be fine for track events such as the ITR Expo and other NASA events?
