Personally I think brakes are overrated. Who wants to stop anyway? Isn't the goal to go as fast as possible while using the brakes the least?

Anyway I've had great luck with Cobalt Centric rotors when they were cheap but they have gone up in price to the point that you just can't beat the Autozone specials.

Pads, I really liked the stock OEM pads but a good alternative with more aggressive bite are the Cobalt GT sports. Good for daily, weekend autocross and possibly beginner DE's if the course and driver aren't too abusive.

Yes, I was looking at Cobalt pads too. I guess I still have a bit of evaluating to do. I'm stuck between the Axxis and Cobalt. I had a set of Axxis pads on my old LS and they worked great. Price is not bad either when compared to Cobalt. We'll see..
