Default Battery problem

I searched, but didn't really know how to search for it. I was at the gas station today, I went in paid, as i walked out my car alarm went off. I turned it off, filled up, got in my car and my clock and radio reset. My battery must of cut out or something. This isn't the first time. A couple weeks ago I thought I stalled out, but my clock and radio reset as well. It shut my car off. Also another problem that could be related is my car doesnt let me in sometimes. I hit unlock on my keyless, and it unlocks but when I pull the handle it locks again. Any ideas? Thanks.

I checked the ground terminal already, it is as tight as it gets but i can still pull it off. What do you do about that? Yeah, I need an alarm really bad, my tires are bald, and I am about to move. I need some serious cash.

Simple...you fix it I'm not sure what you have exactly going on with the battery terminal, maybe take a picture and post it up. Or if it looks as though you can tighten the terminal down better by adding or deleting a washer somewhere, try that. That may simply be your problem.

Heck, while your at it, may as well pull off both connections and give the battery terminals a good roughing up with fine grit sand paper.

Definitely tighten up that battery terminal..If you can pull it off after tightening it, most likely its not making good contact thus causing your issues...either replace with a new terminal, or use some visegrip or sumthin and squeeze the terminal a lil to make it a lil smaller so you'll have a snug fit. Goodluck!

Thanks, thats most likely the solution for the car turning off. What about the ghost locking the door when i pull the handle? lol

My terminal was the exact same way. I loosened it all the way, pushed it down as far as it would go on the terminal and it tightened down. Hasn't come loose again and its been 6 months since I tightened it. Used to pop off once a month before.
