Default Asimo

Hey, honda's high-tech artificial inteligence robot, asimo, is visiting pgh this weekend at cmu. anyone in the pgh area should check it out. it seems cool and freaky at the same time. so if ur interested at all let me know and ill give u the schedule. also, that robo-cup soccer thing thats on tv is here this weekend too. just thought some of u may be interested!

If they made the Asimo Type R, everyone who loved Asimo would call all those that love Asimo Type R 'elitists' and tell us to get off our high horses, when in actuality all the Asimo Type R fans ever did was rejoice in their newfound interest and hang out with other Asimo Type R fans.

heh, quit gettin so worked up over Asimo, it's just a honda, the chevy robot could totally beat it up!

That's pretty cool, Someone definately needs to get an R sticker on Asimo and get some pix I wonder if asimo could pass that robot-following-a-line test they have during CMU carnival, that was pretty interesting...

Hey man, listen up!
Asimo was created to take on an entirely different set of tasks than that Chevy Robot. We're comparing apples to oranges! Plus, Asimo is much more lightweight, so Asimo wouldn't be able to support itself with all that 'stuff' that the Chevy bot has inside.

What is it called? Crapfully Craptastic piece of Crap?

Hey, does anyone know if i can swap Asimo internals into my Rock 'em Sock 'em robots? They already have the stickers on them but the heads just don't pop high enough, i saw the Asimo playing soccer and figure if i can get the ReSe Bots to kick, they'll be twice as k00l.

That would kickass!
I think you need some new springs and wiring harness, since the Rock 'em Sock 'em doesn't already have that ultra-cool VTEC running mode. Or you could just solder on the VTEC adapter to your existing harness.

Now if you REALLY wanted to be k00l, you could bore out Rock 'em Sock 'em's legs and insert all the Asimo-R leg internals for a massive upgrade!

... But then the elitist Asimo Type R owners might accuse you of trying to 'transform' your non-Asimo Type R into a 'fake' Type R. You know those Asimo Type R owners, man, they are such pains in the asses about their hype robot.

LOL, I'm just waiting for all the 'just learn how to use your Asimo Type R to its fullest before you start swapping parts' people to show up!

Chris - who thinks he will go back to work now.

When are they going to have the Asimo Type R Expo?
All the Asimo's would run around the track and try not to bump into eachother (or the Armco ). Then they would have a banquet, and the Sponsors would give away cool upgrades for the Asimo, like Ram and Bus speed upgrades - and a voucher towards a super upgrade that nobody wants cause it's not really a good upgrade anyways....

Then there would be an Expo video - with all the Asimos lined up according to color. And it would be sweet cause they would be running around the track in super high speed...

(I need to stop this)
