Did LAN Admin work all the way through college...just graduated. Taking a job as a sales engineer in about a month.
I bought the car when I was 19...I'm now almost 22. Haven't had trouble affording it since I bought it.
Edit: I held 2 jobs for 1 year in college...worked about 50 hours a week...then had to quit one job because I broke my Heel. Then worked about 30 hours a week for another 2.5 years of college doing the LAN admin work.

Wow you own 3 cars, with no job? And one is a project car? I hope you are joking, otherwise I wish I had your parents. Mommy and daddy must be good to you.

full time student, work full time.
bought my ITR myself w/ my own money (started working when i was 15) 2 months before i turned 18, didnt show proof of purchase until i was 18 which would make it legal for me to buy a car
Pay for school myself, pay for books myself, payd for the car, payed for all the mods, even pay for insurance. Parents have never helped.
Im 20 now, never have had $$$ problems, and im not in CC debt.

TL is the family car, paid by parents, but since they don't like to drive, it's like my own car as I can take it out anywhere anytime. Just occasionally have to drive them to mall and grocery shopping.
PY ITR was paid 1/2 by parent, other my own finance and pay own insurance. I used to work fulltime every summer/winter as a PC technician and full-time Sushi caterer on weekends.
CW was paid by the insurance
S13 was a gift from a friend (so he can save the junkyard fee), as of now, the so called project will halt till I get a full time job.
I my mommy and daddy

I am 20 as of today and I have been without a job for a little bit. I used to work as a waiter for a rich old folks home, and then I worked marketing ISP for a company that went down the shittlez, and now I am a full time student that is trying t get into Haas School of Business located at UC Berkley.
On the side I make cash by selling parts. All of my money goes into this thing and not one regret yet!
