98 ITR - what chip do you like or worked well for you ?
'98 CW Integra Type-R
I've put on a few chosen parts that I like. I'm looking to upgrade my fuel and ignition maps, as well as rev and speed limit to take advantage of my upgrades.
What programs have worked well for you with similiar mods ? I don't really think I want to shell out more than 300-400 dollars. What are you opinions ?
Here is what I have on it currently.
Comptech Ice-box and intake
JDM 4-1 Header w/heat shields
Magnaflow resonator
Apex-i N1 catback
AEM fuel pressure regulator & guage
Unorthodox Racing cam gears

IMO:
You can almost budget a VAFC plus some dyno tuning time. You need to dyno tune it anyway to take advantage of the cam gears. So get something that'll let you do some tuning, rather than an off-the-shelf program that might not work that well for you.
It won't bump your rev limit, but are you really sure you wanted to do that anyway?

Let me just add, if I was stuck on an island with no dyno, I might check out Kenji's ECUs.
Kenji:

His ECU in a Type R or two: (my search revealed 158 results)

ECU suggestions for mainly stock set up...USDM, JDM, Kenji, OBD1, Other?
