1997 ITR#122 Gets a new set of kicks. Pics inside = 56K OKAY
First I'd like to thank CURT941 for the very generous offer on these wheels. An absolute pleasure doing business with him.
I got these wheels yesterday and had them on the caRRR but unfortunately, the weather was a bit on the shitty side, so I had to wait for today to get some pictures up.
The car is lowered on a set of Omniman coilovers and I dropped it just over an inch. Though the wheels have an offset of +40 I had to roll the rear fenders just a little bit at the top to compensate for the wider rim. All in all it took about twenty minutes per side.
First impressions....I think they are blingalicious. I think they look good with the Championship White paint, since the paint its self already has a slight tinge of cream in it. With the already stiff suspension, roll cage and 11 different chassis braces the car already railed. With the side wall not rolling as much with the 17" tires, body roll is damn near not even present. Corning speeds can be done with a bit more confidence.
17x7.5. Most you you scoff at this size. Understandable. To each his own desire. 17 inch tires perform. Bottom line. Hope you all enjoy the picaty pics.
**let the flaming begin......now.**
Toyo Proxis ES-FZ4's 205/40ZR/17's
Rays Engineering Gram Lights (Gold)17x7.5 w/+40mm offset
Check out that sweet *** red caliper...

I did use a dremel but I went too deep. Oh well. Body man back in Hawaii will fix it up nice. Factory lip is probably on some thiefs car in Florida. The original owner got jacked and they stole the factory lip and spoiler. . No worries though.

That looks nice as hell. I love gold wheels on CW. I'm still a little impartial to the wing, but hey some people don't like my stock itr wing, I just tell them, " it's for me, your not supposed to understand."

Yeah....After looking at the pics...those stickers are pretty gay. I'll miss the 20+whp they added though

Look pretty good. How is that turbo working out for you...I havent seen a post with a review of it yet.
I think overall the car will look worlds better once it is repainted and the body is all taken care off.
Nice progress none-the-less.

lol ill be honest and say I like them... I dont like the color but hey sti's come stock with doo doo bronze wheels. Best and only bronze that should be put on wheels would be the bronze racing hart uses on their wheels.
