me and my R buddies are super interested in meeting... its this 2 hour drive to the first meet spot before the sun is even out. a meet in seattle or further north at like noon, im sure lots more would show up...

It was still a pretty good drive but the weather did suck! It's freakin June with 3 weeks full of hot days before hand I still had a good time. The views would have been a lot better especially for those who had never been out to St. Helens. The distance was long but I think the point was for us to go out and drive instead of all meeting and hard-parking. Rob next time bring your car! I'll get some pics up soon. Another drive or track day this summer?

I'm very disappointed I missed this, I was really looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing some R's. My wife was very sick Sunday morning and I just didn't feel good about taking off and leaving her for the day (plus she wanted to go to St. Helens).
Definitely would love to see some pics and would always be up for a drive or track day soon!

It was great seeing those of you I met a couple years ago at our previous ITR meet and meeting some new people as well. Bummer about not being able to see the top half of the mountain, but a gorgeous drive none the less. I hope to have a few pics up this evening.

for sure, for sure. last minute repairs resulting in no car, washington gray clouds, and no sleep couldn't stop me.

from ben & david's near-stock R's to everyone else's upgraded ITR's, the cleanest was seeing the cars hit corners and hear engines barking through the mountain valley

6 for coffee/breakfast, and 4 of us drove up to the mountain. be ready for the drive next time! the drive is what makes the meet worthwhile. 'specially in a car meant for touring.

Next time we should meet up in Lynnwood and head north to Burlington to Hwy 20 (North Cascades Hwy) and take that east to Rockport and take 530 from there to Darrington to Arlington back to Lynnwood. The complete roundtrip from Lynnwood is 170mi. I've never been on the North Cascades Hwy, but hear it's pretty scenic. Just a thought.

now a meet up where we dont have to drive a couple hours to get there, then it would be nice to go on a ITR cruise...

You were a no show at Castle Rock! Just kidding, understand if your wife was feeling ill. Well I think David wanted to drive the Northern Cascades, I'm always willing to go down to OR if you can think of a good drive. Otherwise I plan on doing a class w/ the Alfa Romeo club and CSCC next year, along w/ some hill climbs down in OR if you or anyone is interested. Let me know!

Damn, called out! Believe me, it killed me not to go.

Probably one of the best drives in my area is along HWY 14 through the Gorge. Lots of twisties and a few nice photo ops.
