Your thoughts :: Integra
Okay i'm looking for a first car and i found this 1992 Integra. It has 127,000 miles on it but drives great and the paint work is fine. $6000. The picture isn't mine its just a 1992 Integra that looks exactly like the one i'm looking at execpt mine doesn't have the alloy wheels.
are you getting a gs-r model? g2 gs-r's are rare and all but $6000 is still pretty hefty for a g2 teg with 127,xxx miles on it. spend $2000 more and get yourself a nice g3 gs-r.

I got my 94 GS-R w/ 89K miles last summer for $6500, in excellent shape, but that was a great deal. It could probably have gone for $8K. I wouldn't pay more than $5K for a 92 w/ 127K.
yea, 6k is a bit steep for that...even it were a G2 GSR...a good GSR 92-93, should run u around 5k'ish....depending on mileage....so if its a GS/LS/RS then it goes down from there...

I agree with most of these replies so far; with that mileage $6K is way too steep unless it is in perfect condition... (Is that a GS?)
Offer him $5K if you really want it.

I believe 160 for the b17a cars, maybe + - a couple hp. For the b18c1 cars (G3) it is 170hp. However, you need to factor in torque and a more developed chassis.

That price is way to steep. I picked up my G3 '97 Ls with 50k miles for only
9500.

$6,000 for a G2 1992? you can probably find a G3 1994 GSR for that price... i'd try to talk them down more if you really want a G2
the price is somewhat high for that type of car... i would really suggest saving up a little more, suffer a little without a car, and get yourself a nice dc chassis gsr. i don't think i'd even pay $6k for a g2 gsr with that kind of mileage, unless it was spotless and mint and original everything.
you can buy an G3 integra off ebay for 6k ...
although i've never bought a car off ebay

Also, you never want to buy a car from any online site, auction, without first getting a chance to drive and inspect the car. Common sense tells you never to trust what a seller says online without seeing it first hand.
