I jus got my first car....00 ls non-vtec an i kno jus a lil bit about the sohc engine an can make small modifications like intake valves an exhaust.....but i figure its not even worth the expense to try to make the sohc run near 200 hp.....should i jus save for an engine conversion?

LS's have 2 cams bro....

 

LS is a dohc not a sohc

 

you seem to know enough about the sohc ls motor.
just start dumping money into stuff. like a vvt-i controller.

 

hmmm....the dealer assured me it was sohc...o well....

 

then again when was the last time someone trusted a dealer??
