Default Wire Harness Problem HELP

let me get straight to the point, got a 4 door 95 acura integra LS, swapped in a 96 type r but before i did put a obd1 gsr dizzy, brand new starter, and obd1 alternator and brand new clutch and flywheel, problem im having is when i try and start it, it just clicks and clicks and clicks sounds like the starter but its brand new so? but ya i have it running on a obd1 p28 wit S300 and for some reason my check engine light isnt comin on ever, before the swap it did come on normally. and lastly i think this might be happening becuz im using a stock, uncut, obd1, d16z6 harness from a 92 hatch si. can i not use a civic harness on an integra chassis cuz i thought u cud cuz there both obd1 and they both have pretty identical engine bays and the z6 harness already has the vtec plugs on it for the type r. let me kno guys REALLY CONFUSED... if you need any other info let me know
