You need to find out if it was for an Integra or not. Is it the same year as your car? Are you sure you have the factory keyless? To program, sit in the car with all doors close. Cycle ignition key to on position, then to off and hit the lock button on the remote. Complete this procdure 4 timees. On the fourth time, the locks should cycle indicating that you have successfully programmed the remote. If this doesn not happen, do it all over again. If it still doesn't work, you either have the wrong remote or your keyless unit has a problem. I'd recommend just going to the dealer and getting a new remote, though.

i don't think they are the same.

my step-dad has an 01 gsr and they sent him one for a 95 integra and the dealership couldn't program it.

the alarms changed over the years. The last two model years actually had a chip in the key as a theft deterrant.

Why not get a better alarm in the aftermarket?
