Default will it work?

i notice that my axel boot is torn and i was wondering can i just zip tie it up for now? will it be safe?

You can zip tie it, but it's still not going to seal it up completely.

Just buy the boot now, so you don't have to buy a new CV or axle down the road.

They are like 12 bucks or cheaper i think at kargens just go get a new boot. before you have to go and replace the axels like me

best bet is to just buy a new boot, they're cheap and an easy fix, better than ruining your cv shaft and having to replace the whole thing. . .

Yes it is. haha i never heard of zip tying it. the guy who invented those is savior that and duct tape

Ha! I had one duct taped and zip-tied for two years, it held up pretty well.
But yeah seriously a new boot is like 15 bucks, just make sure you get some grease cause you probably lost quite a bit.
And wear gloves, it's a friggen dirty job dude.
