I used the b20b head along with the b20b valve cover that has the gromet for the pvc for that reason. The b18b I believe didn’t have a pvc on the valve cover it used the black box on the back of the block as said. But anyway i just ran the hose from the Ls intake manifold to the pvc on the b20b valve cover.

Will I have issues if I use an obd2 intake manifold? I will use an obd0 computer to match my obd0 harness and car, but don't want to use the 90-91 intake manifold.

Yes, you need to use the correct manifold, in your case the obd0, or CARB E.O. equivalent.

Also make sure it’s a manual manifold as the auto has different vacuum lines and you will fail inspection.

I ordered a b18a intake manifold.

If I order/use the skunk 2 intake manifold - I will have to use the b18b throttle body and b18b style map sensor. Because the skunk 2 is carb approved, I won't get a hassle for the TB(and non wall mounted map, I think wires have to be extended) as long as I use a STOCK tb, correct?

That, I am not sure about. You’d have to talk to a referee and see what they think. They aren’t here to fail you, they’d rather have you ask a million questions and pass the first time.

Cool. I'll give them a call again as I get closer. Its such a pain to get in touch...they make you give them your number and then they call you back. They sure called me back, but because of these robocalls I don't answer numbers I don't know...I just was hyper sensitive to it knowing they were calling back.

I wonder if a unmolested b20 would pass a smog numbers wise with boltons....not that it would make any difference.

Worst case scenario just make it stock for the referee. Put the toys on later. It’s less hassle for everyone and less chance of failing. The b20 will pass just fine smog wise, they just want to make sure you’re not cutting any corners.

I have a spare monotech harness I'm going to try.

From my earlier post (I actually forgot) they told me in an obd0 car I don't think they are gonna plug into comm port (does the car even have one?)

So I am going to put the car together with the stuff I have and try to get BARred. I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as everything is working properly and I wire up the 4 wire o2. But without it - it would throw a CEL using obd1 ecu.
