Default wierd temperature problem

wuts up... My gsr got rebuilt and i bolted on a new intake, the professional products 65mm TB, and a blox IM.... The temperature gauge will go up to normal operating temperature if i let it just idle, but then if i drive it especially if i get on it the temperature gauge drops all the way below C and stays there. Any ideas what could cause this???
BTW the thermostat is new

Sounds like a theromstat problem to me. Maybe you got a faulty thermostat.

yea i was thinkin maybe the thermostat is stuck open or somethin but i dont get why it would bring it up to normal operating temps when just idling.... before, the temp gauge would never move or anything no matter what... Took apart the TB b/c of a TPS CEL and then when i got rid of the CEL the temp gague goes up when idle but drops when i drive for a while. its mad weird, I dunno???

I just had this problem. Your thermo is stuck open. Make sure to get a new gasket as well.

Good luck.

alright man thanks a lot... Your thermostat would do the same thing, it would warm up when it was just idling and then drop?

Yeah. Id drive for 20 minutes and the needle would be under C. Then i'd get my morning coffee while leaving my car in idle and wallah, temp would be normal. Then I'd start driving and i'd watch the needle drop again.
