Default Why would I run lean and detonate on a stock motor?

I dont get it, I have a stock 95 GSR with a stock ecu (didn't originally come with the motor). Literally my mods are stock jdm b16 airbox, dcsport 4-2-1 header, apex world sport catback. Ive been having issues with oil burning and gas consumption so I decided to check my plugs and do a compression test. Numbers went from 210 all the way across (test done a about 2 months ago with the same set up) to 130 all the way across with white plugs. White plugs meaning lean and i know my pistons, rings, or ringlands are fried. Any ideas on what could have caused this? I'm hinting toward the ecu because the last motor that ran that ecu had the same problems...i figured that motor had issues in its own because the ecu is not modified. Any real input would be nice, thanks in advance, and please leave unnecessary garbage out of this thread.

If your cams jumped timing, that could account for your low compression numbers, so have a look at your cams and crank to see if everything is lined up properly.

Did you perform the second test with the throttle open? Generally, if your compression numbers are all within 5% that is "acceptable". I find it odd that your compression dropped the exact same amount on each cylinder...very unlikely.

Good compression and oil consumption usually denotes bad valvestem seals. A leakdown will properly show this, where a compression test wont. If you are having very bad oil leakage through your valvestem seals, you will get a lot of carbon buildup ontop of the pistons, which create hot spots and are more prone to detonation, in addition to that, oil + gas = lower octane.
