my light recently came on and i recharged my battery but still the light is on any of you guys know whats up? i have a 91 ls teg

 

i think when the battery comes on it means that your car's charging system needs to be inspected

 

91 eh probably your alt. go get it tested and let me tell you how fun it is to change

 

My battery light came on, and my charging system began acting erradically when my battery was on the way out. After swapping out the battery, all was fine. Another issue (if the battery checks out o.k.) is the alternator. It might not be re-charging the battery suffieciently. You can remove it and have it tested at any AutoZone.

check the alternator and the alternator belt that is mostlikely where your problem will hide
