when to launch?
where do you guys usually launch at?
i just picked up my bro's LS turbo @ 245whp with 6 puck
not sure where to launch at? people usualy say at your peak torque but i was think that might be too high? i was shooting for 3500-4000? i dont wanna lose too much tractions. i was thinkin about picking up some slicks. so i get too launch out at high rpm because of the good tractions. what rpm should i launch with slicks and withoutt slicks . extimate the math for me you guys? 245whp@5psi with a 6 puck clutch ? thanks.

No one can really say what RPM u should launch at. What you should do is, go out and practice. Try 2500, and if it bogs, try it at 3000. And so forth. It really depends on how well you play with the throttle and clutch.

practice makes perfect! It's a little harder to launch boosted cars.... just go out and practice in safe area and let us know what works best for you. It'll also answer your own question
theres many different techniques people use to launch..ive heard some people even slip it into gear..or ride the clutch just a little untill right when the tires grab then get on it..
