Default wheel size

Im not sure what forum to put this in but seeing as i have an integra i thought id put it here. My 90 GS has the stock 14" wheels with fairly new tires. Can i only get a 14" wheel for the tires or can i get a 15" or even a 16" on them? Id rather ask here than go to the store and be talked into buying all new wheels and tires if the wheels i want will fit the tires i have. Also, will a larger wheel size improve handling or ride quality?

um, what? You cannot get 15 inch wheels and put 14 inch tires on them. If you get bigger (15 or 16 in) wheels, you will need to buy an equally larger diameter tire as well. For example, someone with a 94 Integra GSR will have 15 inch wheels with 195/55 r15 tires. If they get 16 inch wheels, they should get 205/45 r16 tires or something close to those specs.
