Default wheel offset and stability.

Just wondering since 0 offset pushes the wheel further from the hub does it sacrifice stability ? I see that all the proper wheels +30 or higher offset vs 0. Next question I have some 16x10 +25 rims but there's a guy wanting to trade me platinum XXR 531's in 15x8 +0 with the 15x8's having 0 offset would I still have the same look of the 16x10's but shed some weight ? the potential weight savings are what I'm after both have 205/40-50's stretched over them.

A lower offset would make your springs feel slightly less stiff and would demand more from the whole suspension, including wheel bearings and ball joints. You'll also have more bump steer and wandering from tar lines and cracks in the road.

hmmm ok i'll stick with my x10's then I like how they sit inwards and at least keep a decent amount of tread contact.
