i have a b18c jdm integra, the problem i am having is the car dies, when the ac, radio are on the car would just die (when stopping just idle and shut off), for example, i had the car running ac on, and when i turn on the headlights it would just shut off, i thought it was the battery bc my battery was completly dead, i changed it, it now handles the load now, but the NEW problem i have now is i will be driving and on deceleration, with ac on, the rpm will just drop to 0 and then go back up to say 4500 where i was comeing from with a huge jerk jerk and it will do it twice, what could be the problem here ? any suggestions is greatfull thanks.

i think it either could be alternator going, but i knwo when those things go they just go, with no signs, plug wires, fuel filter or fuel pump, which do you think ?

oh and i have no check engine light

 

i had my distributor go bad 30 min. after leaving the lot i purchased it from it did the same thing died then came right back. but it only did it when it the engine had heated up. if its happening at idle it could be your IACV. it is supposed to control your idle when there is load on your engine. When you are decelerating are you doing it with your clutch pushed in, or in gear?

 

i just changed my igniter and coil. amhh i think it is when the clutch i am off the clutch, actually i think BOTH

 

I had a similar problem on my 92 gs... the little spring loaded power contact on the inside of the distributor cap was sticking, occasionally it didn't make full contact and my engine would just die.. got a new cap and it took care of the problem. just a thought

 

so how is a better wah i can diagnose that ?
