Whats the difference?
Ive done a clean b18a1 swap in my 91 civic hatch everything it runs and drives good but it could be better ...ive got a chipped po6 im wanting to run instead of my stock pr4 since ive got to upgrade to obd1 to do so i got one question...whats the difference between the 2 a1 distributors besides the plugs...ive searched and googled no one really gives a straight answer anywhere
the PR4 is OBD0 P06 is Obd1
OBD0 distributors have a 16 tooth trigger gear in it, OBD1 have 24 teeth.
round plugs are obd0 grey square plugs are obd1. you can repin the grey obd1 plugs to use the round obd0 plugs if you're doing a conversion.

so theoretically i could change the trigger gear and everything else would be basically the same? like the voltage / resistance etc. not to worried about the plugs i can repin...ive got an obd1 conversion harness for the ecu ,ecu, the 4 wire O2 sensor and the 12v injectors.
