Did they even make type r's in america in 96? I thought it didnt start until 97??

a jdm spec engine will have about 10 horsepower more or so, to the flywheel. Other than that, they should be about the same.

okay so i bought the 96 spec JDM motor...its a complete motor and trannie...now is there gonna be a problem with the immobilizer when installing the motor or is it just plug and play...the motor comes with ecu and everything but ive been hearing different things from some of my friends...one says i would have to pin out the ecu and another says its just plug and play
