Default what sensor is this???

i have no clue since its broken off....

the one sitting just below the oil line thats whit and flat since the connector is snapped off


upper right under the thermo housing in this one.


this is a b18b1 block, not sure what year.

I don't even know what that piece is, being both my blocks don't even have it.

All thats in that spot is a blank hole for a bolt, so I'm not really sure,
and it looks like you have atleast a 96+ block since there's no black box on the back.

yeah the 96+ was what i thought about the block but i wasnt sure.

it makes no sense as to why its there.

this is one of the last things hold me back from my swap.

i believe it was just put there because it needed the knock sensor, because there was no where else to put it, doesnt even belong over there, just like you have 2 oil pressure sesnors.

hahaha he does have to OPS lol just noticed that funny shitthey plugged the hole that would feed an oil line to an oil pressure gauge with a OPS cool ****

I think it's knock. The sensor seems to break easiely.

knocks break easy. i remember it being knock because it's by the oil line/oil filter.

it was an ls/vtec previously before i bought the block so im gonna go with knock.

yes thats my oil line for ls/vtec.

on a side note, I cant beleive the way you have your engine attached to the stand... how have'nt the bolts broken or bent orpulled the threads out of your block? but it looks like the knock sensor.

its just the one bolt thats like that because home depot ran out of the correct length. trust me they are high grade bolts and it has sat there for a year now.
