Since your new, i wont throw a fit. But any 10w30 oil 10w40 oil and hondas own manual transmission fluid will work fine. If you have a grind when you shift (mostly into 3rd) get gm friction modified syncromesh.

In my 240sx i used Redline MTF ( i believe it was the "liteweight" version)
Anyways, that **** was awesome, i felt like it took tens of thousands of miles off my dying tranny, and shifted smoother on the track and street. Has anyone here used that for Honda products? Id like to put that **** in my Integra but id like some feedback first....

Did you get the "friction modified" syncromesh? The regular syncromesh isnt going to do **** for ur grind. The friction modified stuff is like 35$.

Well it isn't going to "repair" anything, but people have found that it helps to alleviate the grinding symptoms.

I hate to point out the obvious here, but.... The guy never specified if he had an auto or a manual and everyone is just telling him what to use. Good call guys. Call me dumb for not being clairvoyant but I never just assume anything.
