Default What engine to use

Hey fam!! Ran into a problem the other day. I have a 94 integra GSR with 198K miles. Well recently the engine decided to give up. Sounds like a spun bearing but havent been able to check with all the snow storms we've been getting. I'm looking for an an expensive quick fix. Like under $1k. I've been pricing b20 but of course bein non vtec and bein obd2 motors how can i make it work in my teggy. Thanks in advance guys.

I don't know if I understand the question. But...you want to swap a B20 into an integra? I'm going to go WAY out on a limb and say it's been done before and you can find the details on google or on this site.

Short version is to just swap in the B20. Use a OBD1 ECU from an Integra LS if you want to stay non VTEC.

Or swap your head onto the B20 and use your stock GSR ECU or get a chipped ECU.

U would have to get an obd1 to obd2 ecu harness, distributor harness obd1 to obd2, injector clips obd1-obd2,I think u gotta wire in crank position sensors too (not sure ) mayb someone will have more info on the crank sensor.

Some other stuff might have forgotten. Sorry just got off work can't think right now

What? Why? His car is a 1994. Why would he need any of that to run an OBD2 motor?

I will assume you mean inexpensive, "I'm looking for an an expensive quick fix. Like under $1k"????

Why not just find another GS-R engine, or go real cheap and find an LS engine.

There is a member hear looking to get rid of a GS-R engine with transmission, he was asking what a fare price was for it. 94

Find a good condition LS shortblock and slap the GSR head on it...inexpensive and simple.
