WhAt Is DoInG tHiS?
PLEASE....Help me figure out what is going on!!
Everyonce in a while, the teg wont start on the first, or even second crank..
like its not getting gas, or enough juice from battery...
and what else is weird, is that it seems to do it more often when parked on an incline(front up)...now maybe this has nothing to do with it, but it does this with both full and empty tank.
anyway...what could be causing my car not not start right up right away...and i really only realize it at work (where i am parked on an incline)...i dont notice this at all at home, or at my other job...so is it the incline?...i dunno...im baffled
any ideas are appreciated!!!
TIA

my car does this only when it is cold outside and htere is very little gas in the tank. sometimes the key has to be turned longer than necessary to get the engine going but nothing too drastic that i would worry about. Sometimes if you do not holdin the clutch enough you will find that the car starts and then stalls immediately. Probably comes down to how early it is in the morning for me and how co-hesive my brain is at 5 am because that's what time i go to work. BUT like I said earlier I wouldn't worry too much if it still starts up an the secodn try without any complications.
if it only does it on an incline then i would say its the fuel delivery system (pump/lines) thats causing the problem. Bad spark/HT wires/distributor are not effected by the incline of the car, whereas fuel lines or the pump/fuel filter may be.

Check your fuel pump. Though if it was that it should be doing it more than just when you are inclined. How much fuel do you have in the tank.
