What does a Vafc do?

huh?
it is a tuning tool that allows you to change your vtec crossover and tune air/fuel ratios. Honestly its not worth the money and the hp gain would not be from the controller itself it would from tuning the parts you have. If you want to get tuned though i would reccomend chrome, hondata etc..

they dont really do very much, the only thing I like about mine are the monitors (accurate RPM's, oil pressure, Throttle position, Vtec) and the fact that I can change the Vtec point so if im driving a little fast on the freeway my car wont be locked in vtec the entire time

why the hell would you do that? just get a b18a/b if you dont want vtec.
if you dont know what you're doing, you can easily mess something up by just playing with a vafc.
