What clutch are using?

Just test drove 98 gsr that I'm thinking of buying with 70000 on stock clutch and nite and day difference. First thing to do is change clutch if I get the 98. Hope this helps...</TD></TR></TABLE>
If I'm not mistaken, the OEM clutch is Exedy. Did you re-surface the flywheel at the same time?
I'm still on the original clutch on my '93 Si with 190K miles and just got a 2000 GSR in like-new condition. The GSR clutch is a lot stronger than the one in the Si so maybe you just need to get used to it. Don't change the clutch out with an OEM clutch because it feels different than the Si unless there's something wrong with it (slipping).
BTW, after just a couple months in the GSR the Si feels like a toy in comparison, and I drove that since brand new, 10 years. I still love the Si though, I crank it up and drive it around the block every week or so. I am already getting tired of worrying about tickets and theft with the GSR and considering getting rid of it and going back to the hb, but not too seriously

ACT HDSS, and love it. I also have the ProLite flywheel & intake/exhaust.
Great combo, smooth positive engagement with no substantial increase in pedal pressure. I sit in traffic a lot and it doesn't bother me.
Cheers,
Roy

Takes a beating with no problems. But I'll be going with a Actionclutch soon.
