What cat back would you guys recomend for my turbo integra...any thing else besides the Thermal R&D cat? Thanks

 

welcome to H-T try the search option it is located in your upper right hand corner, there is thousands of threads about which exhaust to get it all depends on what you want in an exhaust, deep sound, throaty sound, loud, quiet, lots of power, cool looks. My reccomendation would be an N1 its loud, looks cool, and has dyno proven power gains

 

damn u turbocharged your car and dont know a thing about which exhausts are good? wow....


also your turbo specifications and header/cat model might help

N! is for turbo

2.38" piping

Go with pretty much anything that is mandrel bent and has 3" back piping!

i know they make a 2.75 im not sure about a 3inch

yea...but u NEED a bigger exhaust because you cant have much back pressure... ...2.75 wont do the job....if apexi makes it in the 1st place

not to mention you need a high flow cat/header that will ALSO fit the custom piping...

 

Look on Apex-i site... They dont make but 2.38 inch piping from what i could see for the teg.... only 60mm piping

Apex'i makes a 3"inch N1 Universal muffler. They Also have a a bolt on exhuast system i believe is 93mm it it there new GT Series.

MUFFLER!!! YEA... thats different than the pipes from turbo-back...plus its the TIP diameter...big help there!

We talking piping not muffler


3 inch muffler without 3 inch piping does jack ****!

 

i never said anything about 2.38 inch piping

yea i know you need bigger piping for less back pressure when it comes to turbos but i was just reccomending the N1 to him, i wasnt sure if they made one with 3 inch piping or not

I was implying for him to get a 3" custom set-up and yes their is a 3" N1 Muffler NOT TIP !!! one for N/A and Turbo Apps. I also metioned of their 3" Bolt-on exhaust its the Apex'i GT Spec.

 

93mm = 3.66 inch piping... They do not make exhaust piping that big for tegs...

Plus there is no GT exhaust for the tegs

 

Check again its not on their website, i got my info direct from apex'i when i was looking for a 3"exhuast 2 weeks ago. Yea my bad on the 93mm that was for other Applications in the GT Spec Line Up they do have 3" inch for Tegs though(just released).

the tip on that muffler is like 5" ....anyway there are WAY to many damn s on this thread.

but yea w/the exception of custom piping the Thermal R&D is probably your best bet. you could try posting in the FI forum to and get responses from from also.
