IAC ?

this is on a GSR intake manifold what is this part.. my LS intake manifold does not have one.

im guessing they are different? GSR and LS I mean because my GSR one wont fit.

 

Is what different? I'm pretty sure a GS-R intake manifold will not fit on an LS head.

But yes, your LS intake manifold should have an IACV on the back (idle air control valve), but it's not the same as the GS-R one.

 

usually its located near the tb so it can surpass the throttle plate to supply enough air for the engine at idle. hence idle air control valve. hope that helps
