Weird Question
Ok, this might sound weird, but is there a EGR Valve on the 3rd Gen Integra (LS, 1997 model) ? I can't seem to locate it in the manual, much less in the car itself.
The thing is, I got code P0171, and having no scan tool to test the O2 and map sensor, and being a bit too dumb to use a multi-meter while driving, I asked the dealer to test it out for me during one of my oil changes. Now, they say the O2 sensor is a bit slow to react but that it could also be the EGR Valve. Of course they want me to wait for it to code again so they can re-test, but the car is really acting up and I want to get this fixed before winter.
Anyway, some people I talked to don't think there's an EGR Valve on my model year, so I wonder why the dealer, as in the guys who are actually supposed to know this car, would blame it for the problem.
