weird question
yeah for a couple of seconds
im just asking if it could cause any problems because i did it on my buddies stock civic and a couple of minutes later it stopped running, even though after i put the wire back it was fine for a few minutes he is trying to blame it on me

Exactly. It's not a real 'problem' but it's not a good idea.

so you dont think i could have done any harm to it, not anything that would make the car stop running?</TD></TR></TABLE>
No. Sometimes, you can do this to see if a certain spark plug wire isn't getting power from the distributor like it normally should. If everything is working correctly, and you pull the wire from cylindar one, your engine will bog down. Now, assuming cylindar one wasn't firing like normal and you pulled the plug and nothing happened. You could think your distrubutor cap was bad, or maybe the spark plug, or that specific wire.
