Default Weird Electric Problem...

Sorry for the long post, but i need some help. Thanks in advance.

Ok, so now I have a weird electrical problem. Last week I got to start my car and it's running like ****. Hmmm, no power, so i jump it. Ran fine for like 30 seconds then started idling like crap and stalled. So I notice that my wires to the 2nd O2 are ripped from the sensor and hangin on the ground. I tape them up and tuck them above the heat-shield and jump the car again. Same thing, runs then dies. So, I have an extra battery and put it in. Starts fine, check the volt meter on the VAFC and it says 12v. I drove it that night and the volts slowly started falling to around 10.5. Whew! Next morning it starts fine, volts at like 11v, I go inside and when I come out the meter says like 8.5 and the cars studdering. Whatever, i park it and it sits for 2 days. Last night i go to start it and it starts right up! WTF, volts at 11.4 yesterday and 10 minutes ago when I started it. I have no idea what the hell is going on...Help.

hmmm. this is kind of odd. i would have your alternator tested to see how its running, to check if it is charging your battery and running your car like it should. Do your lights all dim alot? or start to dim before the car dies out??

Your voltage should be up around 14 while it's running. I vote for a bad alternator (or it's wiring).

voltage should be above 12 static and between 13.2-13.4 while idleing. go to autozone and ask them to do a battery/alternator test, its free.

I thought about the alternator at first too. But what i don't understand is how can the volts be at like 8.5 2 days ago, but then yesterday it was up to 11.5 when i started it. Thats the weird thing to me.

Maybe the battery is getting flaky too. But the low voltage while running says at least the alternator or it's wiring has problems.
