Get a wiring schematic for the circuit and check to see what else in the circuit is/is not working. Also, see what other components share the same fuse or other common areas and see if they are working. Did you check the bulbs?

i dont know where can i get that diagram from, but nothing else seems like that it isnt working either. the bulbs are good since both side went out after i shorted it and also it is conencted to my city lights which are not working right now too.

Check the 10 amp fuse under the dash. I think its next to a 7.5 amp and a couple of other 10 amp. Its for dome I believe. Had this problem before just the 10 amp fuse.
