everything works. no fuse or anything is wrong. the lights work and everything is good, its just sometimes theres a delay in coming on.

or i have to touch the switch and ittl come on. looks like a loose connection problem but i took it apart n everything looks fine.

sometimes when i open the door even it doesnt come on but after a few seconds it comes on, lol

any idea?

sounds like contacts in the switch. did you open it up and brush off the contacts?

 

i opened it up, and damn there was this greasey grime **** all gunked up under the switch on the three little contact points, i wiped it all off and put it all back together now she works fine hehe.

yea that's probably dielectric grease, from the factory. it's in there to keep the contacts lubed and in good shape. over time though, it will attract a lot of crap. wouldn't be a bad idea to put some fresh dielectric grease between those contacts though
