Did the car stall from water ingestion while running? If so, damage most likely occured.

Try this:
Pull the spark plugs.
Disconnect the fuel injector clips and distributor plug.
Crank the engine to eject the water.
Perform a compression test.
Reconnect injectors and distributor.
Reinstall spark plugs.

I personally don't want to subsidize the repair of damage caused by the consequences of poor decisions made by someone else. That is insurance fraud.

I really don't know why these aftermarket companies didn't copy the ITR design to a degree and position the inlet for a CAI in the RF fender. The chance of water injestion there is minimal. My custom CAI draws from that location.

So is the AEM ITR CAI designed for the filter to sit at a different spot than other CAIs to prevent hydrolock? If so, I want to grab me one. The only reason for me not wanting one was hydrolock.

This happened to me today i ran through a large amount of water not een thinkin about my intake and my car immediately stalled. i took out my plugs and let them sit for while i tried to crank the engine to get some water out but it doesnt wanna crank most of the time.

I have heard from a bunch of people on here and my friends that their car ran afterwards. what r the chances that my engine is completely jacked?
