It will probably be unhealthy for your engine since that ECU might have been chipped for his engine. Each engine is different and you should have the ECU tuned for your engine and your parts.

well first of all you still have the stock Intake Manifold then i wouldn't get it. Just because it'll leave the secondaries open all the time the car loses much needed torque. and depending on the chip setup you may run too rich or too lean, it will effect your gas mileage too. it'll make you think your car is faster just because the vtec cross over is high but in reality you'll lose time and your power curve will slump. On top of that just because the rev limit is set at 9500 it dosn't mean your engien is gunna be able to take it. your going to need some valve work done before getting it up there.

i do have an itnake manifold and i know just cause the rev limiter can see 9500 that my gsr valve springs can't. and as far as the chip set up can't i get it retuned. but he is selling it to me for a $100.00 i didn't think it was to much. i had a p28 with no rev limiter from a guy who built my motor in my hatch it had 12.5.1 compression. but this newer gsr is stock internally I know some things on this topic but i have never heard of vtecrom.com is it a goog brand just for now. When i put my turbo on i plan at least having an s200// or if i can swing it the s300 so i can tune properly.
