vtech malfunction
vtech not working after ls/vtech swap when ecu that i recieved with the motor is plugged up wont go past 5000 rpm and vtech does not engage I've tried everything that i know need help running out of options! please

I think the JDM ECUs do not need the pressure switch. The USDM ones do. Perhaps there is a way to fake it. Which ECU are you running?

That phone says LG on it quite clearly, noit VTECH. If you are going to flame at least get it right instead of commencing an embarrasing self immoliation.

The JDM ones should not look for the pressure switch since the JDM VTEC solenoids do not have a switch. Search google for "hondahookup manuals" and download the one for your car. You should be able to jumper the ECU to thinking the pressure switch is properly tripped.
