Was this it?

If so, then there is a lot more you need to do. You need to get a VTEC head and valvetrain, for starters. You'll also need an ECU that can run VTEC, and you'll need different pistons, rods, and rod bolts. Basically, it requires a full engine rebuild.

A LS/VTEC conversion is a tricky thing to do and it needs to be done right or it won't last long. If it's something you want to do, make sure you get all the information you need and do it right. Don't take this wrong but you don't sound super knowledgeable about B-series building. For you a turbo build might be easier and more cost effective.

here is a write up on lsvtec, there are a couple more out there.

There are people who've just bought the headgasket, arp headstuds, vtec head, gsr oil pump water pump and timing belt, and an ecu to run it, and their motors lasted quite awhile.

My friends b20vtec motor was built that way, still running strong for about 6 years

lsv won't get you to 250hp, 175-180 is a little closer with a build and a tune...
Turbo is really the only way to get to 250, or you can do lsv turbo.
