Default VTEC engagement on GS-R

Does VTEC on the a stock GS-R engage at 4400 RPM's or 6000 RPM's? I have heard both options.

this is such common knowledge because it says it in the broshure and if you don't know you shouldn't own a GSR

That might be true, but there are a few things that I think I should inform you about concerning your post. Proper punctuation as in "This..." and periods "." are also forms of common knowledge. Also I would like to add that "broshure" is spelled incorrectly. The proper way to spell the word you fumbled with is actually, "BROCHURE". I have a GS-R and I was thinking that the Secondaries opened up at 6000. So does that mean I don't deserve to drive my car?

Good God!!!! Get your panties outta a knot! I have a prelude and my friend has a GS-R, his name on here is phat gs-r. Anyway, I was at a prelude meet and a bunch of people were saying it engaged at 6k. I was like, DOES NOT!!!!!!!! So we got in a big argument. Now I am gonna send them this link. So settle the **** down....At any rate, thanks for confirming the 4400 engagement

Dude, it is 4400 rpm, because if you start off in first (duh) and shift to second at a low rpm and take it all the way up to 8100! you will hear it first engage at 4400 and then get kick your *** loud at 6000. don't you just love that?
